shopping's so fun.... hee... No, you're not imagining things.. I'm still in the middle of my exams. Two more papers on Tuesday.. But I went shopping with my mom today!! muahahaha... This is wat u call "bo chup"! ok.. not really.... I did my notes to bring in for one exam... The other one is open-book. The lecturer said prepare 3 different chapters, and I've summarized 4 chapters.. Will do one more tomorrow, then will concentrate fully on those 5. Maybe more in specific 3 chapters..

Yay! So what did i buy? Pair of pants, a top and a small bag that's free with ELLE magazine.. muahahaha... Shopping shopping shopping

11.45am: cook, lunch, tv shows (Designer Guys & Travel Asia & Beyond or Ambush Makeover)
12.30pm: study
5pm: tv and slacking from now on...

Ah well.. study doesn't mean study also.. Will daydream.. Read a few lines then mind wanders everywhere

Casino again

Well... as usual, it's exam time and i like to do all kind of things except studying.... So I'm here blogging...

$100 per day to go into casino or $2000 per year...

Personally, I will not go in.. Hope that they'll be nice pple and open the casino for 1 or 2 days before it starts. Let poor pple who dun gamble like us to go in to see see look look....

I'd rather use the 100 bucks to buy my ticket to universal studios.. If they're opening one... Of course I hope it won't be so ex. But all these theme parks are always so ex...

Went out with mum.. I bought a pair of heels!! yay!! So lucky to find something really quickly. Especially when I usually take very months to find a pair of shoes... Can use it for work next time..

Then went for dinner with family. Dinner is ok lah.. But dessert is yummy

Yeah.. I'm blogging at an unearthly hour.. Just reached home from fren's bday party. Haven't really had this kind of house gathering for quite some time... Interesting and fun... Closed group always have more interaction..

Anyway, just reflecting back on Friday when my paper was due.. Such an interesting time... I was delaying my time to hand up my research proposal. Dunno why, but I just didn't feel like putting the thing into the mailbox. Wasn't feeling very confident about it. Felt that it was quite lousy, so just didn't feel like handing up. But I did at the end, of course...

One of the few times when I handed up quite late for my term paper. And hanging around the mailbox area is a very interesting thing to do. You see your fellow classmates walk to the printing room, some walking to the mailbox. Some say haven't really finish but bobian must hand up on time. Then you'll get to talk to different classmates at different times. Ask some pple wat they wrote on. Ask some others how long they wrote. And of course, complain about how difficult it was trying to hit the minimum page limit and wat not...

One thing I learnt that my fren told me.. Arial font gives you more length than Times New Roman. So if you can't hit the minimal length next time, try using arial.. Help you a bit

Terrible terrible....

Had a nice dinner with some psy frens.. Took a bus to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station cause they heard for some muslim stalls there... Quite a few stalls there.. more than 10 stalls.. I shared chicken pita and some tahu thing with my fren. Then all of us shared satay and stingray. Stingray quite nice! Got a lemongrass taste.. happy happy...

To all perfectionist

Just heard a story on 933fm. I guess I could say that it is a story for perfectionists to listen to.. Or pple who have problems delegating work to others... (includes me sometimes)

One day, a successful businessman fell ill, so he went to the doctor.
The doctor said, "You must rest more."
The businessman heard that and said, "Doctor, I have loads of work to do everyday. I have many important projects waiting to be done. Even when I go home, I have to carry a huge and heavy bag full of documents waiting to be handled."
Then the doctor asked, "Don't you have any assistants to help you with your work?"
Businessman said, "My staff can only help me here and there. How can I assign them with all the major tasks? In the end, I have to handle all the important and major work."
Hearing that, the doctor said, "Then I suggest that you use half a day every week to take a walk in the cemetery."
The businessman was puzzled and asked why.
The doctor then explained, "Take a walk in the cemetery and look at the gravestones. Sometimes, you will notice names of successful people, some even more successful than you. But, after they died, the world has not become a worse place, but instead it is getting better."
After hearing that, the businessman understood. And from then on, he began to delegate more work to his subordinates.

It's one stupid HOT day.... Walk around until I feel sticky and yucky....

Want proof that NUS is on a hill? From business library to central library, I had to climb 5 flights of stairs, 1 short flight and 1 slope. Bleahz... Hate stairs, especially when I got books in my backpack

Had an unplanned lunch with frens.. It's amazing who u can find in sch on a sunday

Firstly, I have almost finished one paper that I have started this morning. 1300+ words. Just need to get another two more journals to see wat else I can add to my essay...

Secondly, the Channel U I loved is back!!!!! YAY!!! It's kind of part of my life now.. Not really a great fan of Channel 8 compared to Channel U.. I like the fun and young and creative feeling from Channel U shows.. Anyway, I watched ‘食字路口’ today!! Utterly hilarious! I love it... Been deprived on the show for months...

Thirdly, I switched to Miss Singapore Universe after the show.. The male model judge is really good looking!!! And Taufik's singing is still good! Me and mrs mrs mrs jonessssssssss........ *ahem* hee, my singing not so good...

And Miss Singapore Universe 2005 is.......... Cheryl Tay!! Not like it bothers me.. But I think Natasha, 1st runner up, spoke quite well during the q&a for the 5 finalists....

Oh well, since Channel U is back and running, I got a feeling I will watch a lot of tv from today onwards!!! All the Channel U variety shows!! yay!!!!!!!

April fool

Before I embark on my journey of essay/paper-writing.. I have decided to start on blog writing first. It's so much easier..

My april fool's day has passed without anything much happening. So unlike primary or secondary school where u have all kinds of pple coming up with funny stuff. Like 'look! there's something on the ceiling' or 2 classes exchanging classrooms to play pranks on the teachers. Oh well, I wonder if pple get older and they can't be bothered with such things anymore. At least for me. I can't be bothered to think about how to fool pple
