it's fri!!!! and the 'leap day' too! It's 29 feb, once every 4 years.. wow..

Not a very happening day though. Had to work as usual. Bf not in the correct state to meet me tonight cause he had to sacrifice sleep yest.

Oh yah, it's been 2 weeks since my office shifted to gombak area. No one believes me when I say that I take 50 mins to travel to office. WHY??? My estate is supposedly beside gombak, but it's not that near since I don't drive.

Takes me 30 mins to take a bus from my house to bukit panjang, another 15 mins to wait for bus and take to office and 5 min to walk in.

eventful weeks

A lot of things happened since the start of rat year..

- Our famous 'ah meng' died and was given a grand funeral in zoo. At least I think it should be not bad ba...

- Fei fei (lydia sum) passed away this week. Remember hearing that she was quite week previously battling with cancer

- Hongkong sex photo scandals... I haven't really seen those photos but they must be quite controversial ah... Anyway the latest news today is that the Edison returned to Hongkong to apologize and said he'll leave the artiste circle.

- Yesterday, I heard of bad news regarding 2 different friends. One's grandma passed away, one's dad passed away.


Where are all the good news???

Oh yeah, there's one. Singapore will organize the Youth Olympics in 2010!!! Woohoo!! Maybe I should buy ticket to watch one game finals. Not sure which one though. Badminton? Tennis? Table tennis? Gymnastics?

Officially moved

From this monday onwards, I've officially shifted my office location. The only one from one location to move to the other...

Oh well, my cubicle is smaller but still pretty cosy I guess. Freezing cold in office though! After sitting for a few hours at my desk, my hands will turn to ice.

Trying to get to know my new boss better. It's a new branch and I'm the only officer/staff she has. We do not have any clerks or assistants either. Just me and my boss.

Also trying to make new friends. Luckily my boss brought me around on monday morning to introduce me to everyone and introduce their names. Actually it's not the first time I've been in that office. I've gone there quite a few times since the reorg months ago. But at least through the introduction, I tried desperately to remember names. Drew a map of everyone's sitting position and their names. It's not too bad so far...

Now trying to learn the ropes and read more files

i think i got mahjong overdose... played everyday of cny from eve to 3rd day... That's a total of 4 days.

Reunion dinner

2nd year in the row that my family went to waraku for reunion dinner.



Actually it's not a bad idea. The prices are the same. No crazy up-pricing like chinese restaurant. This year, they got the idea of creating yusheng also. All I can say, it's the first time remembering eating yusheng with mouthfuls of sashimi. Usually, you kind of have to fight for the fish.





Oh, I tried something new this time. Potato mochi cheese! See that round round thing? I don't really know how to describe it. It's very soft and fluffy, but with a tinge of mochi texture and crispiness because it's fried on the outside. Inside, there's melted cheese. Try it!

Cny rush

Wow... I seriously don't remember when was the last time I went supermarket before new year with my parents.

Just came back from ntuc at bukit panjang plaza. Horrible sia... I spent 20-30 mins at the queue. Even though I went to queue while my mom was in the middle of shopping, she was still done way before I reached the cashier...

Just another reminder that chinese new year's coming!

Went for my first scrapbooking class with friends on wednesday. Finally stuck on the final word tonight.
