Packing up

Today is the first day I'm slowly bringing stuff from my office back home. Going to clear everything that's mine from the table. Thought I didn't have much but then it seems like I accumulated quite a bit. Jackets, cups, mini decoration, materials from different courses, etc etc...

Yeah I'm packing my bags, but no I didn't quit. Got asked by my boss to move to gombak office instead. Feels really weird though because I'm the only one moving from depot office to gombak for some project. The rest are staying put until the new office is ready (earliest aug, but I doubt so)

Uneasy feeling. Feels like I'm going for a new job with new place and colleagues

Just thought I'll just blog since I've been quiet.

Been quite busy working lately. More and more overtime with last minute changes to my papers. Running more to gombak for meetings.

A while ago, I was just thinking... Humans are contradicting (or maybe just me):

Humans want more money, but unwilling to take risk (after thoughts after I relooked at my cpf investment after the stock market went down)

Higher the pay the better, but it should be corresponding with less work

Going for further studies could possibly increase chances of promotion or opening new routes, but one hopes that a degree will just drop from the sky

More work means more chances to show one's ability, but unwling to receive more work

Oh well, I feel lazy...

pizza

writing backwards into time...

sunday i baked peanut cookies.

saturday i attempted to make pizza from scratch. Rolled my own dough from flour and water with some yeast, salt and sugar.

Personally I like authentic italian pizza with thin thin crust.. So, I tried to roll my own thin crust! Overall, it's quite ok. But lacks a little of the super crispy crust. I guess the real italian pizzas require really hot oven with nice fire.

But still it's pretty ok. If I ever hold a party, I can consider making. Will be quite tedious though. My oven's not very big

Busy sunday

Painted part of the living room from late morning to early afternoon. Not easy sia... Wanted to post a photo of my polka dotted feet, but decided that my feet not very pretty to be posted online...

Then tried to bake some almond cookies. Nice or not? Edible ba... Definitely not the best

Le Grand Chef

Watched the korean movie yest on cooking. Ok, most of the movie is on cooking and some quite pretty dishes. But there are a lot of touching moments... Think I cried about 3 times in the cinema..

Very nice show! For those who are thinking, I think it's worth watching..

Oh, and we went to eat korean food after the movie.. hee.. so tempting..

Zoo

Late blog entry but anyway... Went to the zoo on 1 Jan. Think it has been almost 10 years since my last visit... Last visit should be in sec sch ba..

Parts of the zoo are under going recontruction.. Hope it'll be bigger. Didn't get to see the "children world" that I remembered...

But it wasn't too bad after all. Found my childhood and something extra:

Spring cleaning.. Recently, one by one, the posters on my wall are falling off. Think the bluetacks are getting old and non-sticky liao..

I'm wondering if I should just take all of them off. Feel old... Still right to have cute guys on my wall?
