It's a bit late for this post, but didn't have time and energy to type beforehand.
Went to Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel for the buffet during lunch time to celebrate colleague's bday. There was a 1-for-1 promotion by HSBC card.
Anyway, here are my reviews:
- Variety of food not bad.
- Cold food: The sashimi and oysters not bad. There were fresh prawns too.
- Salad: The range not bad! Actually I quite like the appetizer section
- Soup: I tried the tom yam soup. Can only say NICE. I was even thinking about it the day after. hahaha....
- Main course: I didn't try much main course, so can't really comment. According to colleagues, it's ok lah.. The grilled lamb wasn't fantastic. Prefered the one at Triple M.
- Desserts: Quite a variety. The cheesecake is good! I even got to make my muah chee. Use tong to pull out some muah chee and cut it off. Then use scissors and cut into small pieces and drop them into the pail of peanut. Really feel like 'muah chee' auntie. Tiramisu not bad too!
Overall: I think it's definitely worth the money with the 1-for-1 promotion. Promotion ends at end nov though. If not, you can decide if you want to pay full price, or wait for another promotion!
